For the 2022 edition of the OUT OF THE BOX.NRW award, a total of 130 innovative startups from all over North Rhine-Westphalia were nominated. Ten of them moved on to the grand finale. With eyes on a prize money of 50.000 euros, they competed in a decisive pitch round, given a last chance to impress the expert jury and 232 online voters. Their solution Aikana is the first software that can perform a comprehensive and real-time simulation of the optimization potential to the BIM designers.
ENLYZE’s aim is to make manufacturing more efficient and sustainable. They develop tools to help reduce the waste of resources within the production process and to provide insights into how companies can be more sustainable.
The startup has the goal to develop the leading analysis tool for manual work processes. The company relies on wearables and beacons to anonymously record activities and process steps and to automatically analyze them with the help of an artificial intelligence developed in-house. Based on this technology, MotionMiners GmbH offers services and an analysis platform for the process analysis of manual performance processes in Industry 4.0.
The startup company develops intelligent observation systems that count, for example, passengers in public transport. Possible applications for the automation of human observation are not only limited to public transport, but can also be used in the manufacturing industry for the quality control of products.
